How do I stop someone in China from hosting my website on their domain?
I just noticed that some random domain is hosting what appears to be an exact copy of my website on their domain name… I did a Who is search and there was no useful information and what was available was in Chinese which I goggled and got no real information from. I called my hosting company and they said that nothing can be done…
So they don’t appear to be using my content to promote themselves but still… how do I get this off the web?
There is not much you can do. This sort of thing is very common. If your content is well indexed in Google, Yahoo, Bing etc then they will see the duplicate content and ignore it.
