Why did my website disappear from google search?
Yesterday my site, www.juiceplusjohn.com was the #1 site when I googled “juice plus canada”, “juice plus inc” or “juice plus john”. It has been for many months. Today google doesn’t have it listed. The url works when it is entered in the address bar. The domain name juiceplusjohn.com is forwarded to my “personalized” corporate site www.juiceplus.com/+jh81511. Corporate hasn’t done anything differently.
I cannot use the google webmaster tools because it is a forwarded site. Has someone played a dirty trick?
I suspect that is because you are redirecting that url to a canada.juiceplus… address, using a 302 redirect, instead of a 301. Your page may have been flagged for duplicate content by Google.
I’d recommend setting up a 301 redirect (make it’s a 301 this time), and file a reinclusion request through your webmaster tools. Briefly explain to them what happened in your own words, and what actions you have taken to prevent this from happening again.
Your request may take up to 8 weeks to be reviewed, so be patient and avoid submitting multiple request.
Once they review your request and reevaluate your site to make sure that is not violating any more spamming guidelines, then they will crawl your site again and your ranking process will start from scratch.
